The Khutze river in the Great Bear Rainforest is a huge salmon spawning river and typically an amazing place to encounter numerous grizzly bears along the shore of the river, whom are foraging for food - primarily salmon. However, the area itself is so damn beautiful, as it is surrounded by big fjords with waterfalls cascading down them everywhere and barely any noticeable signs of human interference, minus the vessels that are anchored close by.
The notable thing about the Great Bear Rainforest is that most of these regions can only be reached via a boat of some sort, which is amazing as it does limit the exposure this region does have from being over saturated with people and potentially spoiling important elements. The remote beauty, lack of people, Wifi & cell service. 'tis a beautiful thing...
This evening at dinner I was enjoying the scenery and resonating peacefulness, which can almost be deafening at times and I did my best to capture this experience. Today, I can still look at this picture and basically time travel back to that singular moment of just being at peace.
