Clouds are amazing!
Like electricity, clouds are amorphous structures that we admire more than we understand, for their physical reality is so much more than their obvious function.
These elemental creations of ethereal substance are water droplets grouping together to hang out in the sky, bringing us rain, storms, contrast and emotion.
I love clouds - looking at them, photographing them, drifting amongst their whispy remnants clinging to a mountain plateau. Whenever I hear the word, the classic song, Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell, comes to mind:
Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way
I googled sounds for cloud related songs to find a mood. Robert Fripp is an incredible dude. This song is from his album, Temple in the Clouds.
Thought you could listen while you enjoy the photos...
These are a few of my older cloud photos taken between 2012-2015, created with a cheap Canon point and shoot, I think 12 megapixels? Quality on some of these is a bit grainy.
This post topic was suggested by a well known alien fractal mango dealer from the southern desert, so shout out to .
I think he was high because his head is always in the clouds, and while some people might not think cloud photos are all that fascinating, I happened to agree with him that clouds are the stuff of imagination!
