Awesome!

There are many words which gradually changed meaning over time, so is that a natural part of language evolution?

Currently the word awesome is over-used to describe something that is merely good rather than something that inspires awe.

So what do you say now to show that something left you in awe? Is there a new word to take its place?

I have mixed feelings about this sort of stuff. Any comments?
