I could not believe it! I was able to complete the task assigned to me for the birthday celebration of our older sister. It was a humble surprise party we cooked up just yesterday. No one really had any plans, but this idea just came up, and everyone was eager to help.
I arranged this small nook to turn it into a coffee bar for our coffee loving guests
My assignment involved all the baking, as everyone knows I love experimenting and trying new recipes. I decided to create a little corner filled with candies, chocolates, coffee, and baked goods. Knowing there would be many guests who love coffee, I quickly arranged this dedicated corner. Instead of placing everything on the dinner table, I noticed this small side table , pulled out a tea towel, and neatly laid out all the cups. My brother's existing coffee art pieces served as perfect decorations. The red and green mugs were from a previous shopping trip at Clark Duty Free, which I had posted about before. Ultimately, everything I baked and prepared went into this corner, giving the birthday celebration a unique, cozy theme.
I baked some banana bread with chocolate chips and that nut that is shaped like a brain sorry I forgot what it is called and got no time to search if you do know leave a comment below
This was absolutely intended to be a surprise, but our older sister caught us right in the middle of all the last-minute preparations! It is what it is—we just threw our hands up and told her to go put on an outfit she would love to wear for her birthday, and thankfully, she cooperated with a laugh.
I have made a snap about my crinkles before so these might already be familiar with my regular commenters. As you can see there were only two left it is quite obvious that our guests love them Yay

I baked a simple cake that is shaped like the number 60
Overall, I made at least three baked goodies, which kept me sleepless all night until the early morning. I also made this cake. While baking itself can be easy, I find that decorating it is a hit or miss challenge; deciding on the look, color, and theme is what truly gets me. This is especially true because I tend to overthink every detail. Despite the overthinking, I successfully baked a simple cake shaped like the number 60—yes, the celebrant is now officially a senior citizen!
These are jellos just to bring back some childhood nostalgia
Candies and sweet treats, especially those that bring back childhood memories and nostalgia, are always my safe bet when I run out of time or ideas. This is why I bought these jellos —just a simple way to bring back some childhood nostalgia!
Thank you so much for reading about our little surprise party success I hope you enjoyed seeing the cozy coffee corner and all the last-minute bakes.
