Coronavirus exposes endless strings of discrimination against minorities; threats to Asians, abandoned Blacks, and abused Latinos. America was founded on the original sin; slavery, and can never be full cleansed of that stain in our instituions.
Now we have the high irony of the U.S. morons, those that scapegoated latinos for generations and demanded to build 'a wall' and all the idiotic i.n.s. & i.c.e. 'raids' on hard working latinos to get the 'illegals' out of the country; generations of these shenanigans about needing workers and then abusing them.
Now we have “Four out of every five Latinos are considered essential workers,” ... “They’re in construction, food processing, grocery stores, they’re farm workers. So they don’t have the luxury of being able to work from home, and therefore they’re being exposed to Covid-19 in ways that many American workers are not."
So there you have it, Americans wouldn't have food on the table or a roof over their head if it wasn't for the ESSENTIAL work Latinos do. Yet white headed America will continue to shame, abuse, berate and keep marginalized and disadvantaged the Latinos that make our living system here in the U.S. possible.
