Believe it or not, the infamous "Sin City," Las Vegas, has its very own Latter-day Saint Temple.
Located in more isolation and away from the flashing lights of the Vegas Strip, the Vegas Temple is a quiet and peaceful setting in contrast to the hustle and hubbub of the active night life of the main city.
This temple is one of two in Nevada -- the other being in Reno. It has six stylized spires, the tallest of which features the Angel Moroni that is typically found on the temples.
Its shape is unique with a sense of modern elegance. It was dedicated in December of 1989 and feels like a breath of fresh air after a night of harried activity.
