This weekend, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is holding its semi-annual General Conference. It is a two-day event held on the first weekend of April and October, and I always look forward to it with great anticipation.
They still cannot conduct the Conference to a live audience, but all of it will be televised. It can be exciting for a member of the Church to hear from men of God and feast on the Word.
Yesterday morning, I headed up into Logan to capture one of the few Utah temples I still hadn't been to. I have relatives on my mother's side who were married here, and my own mother always wanted to be married here herself, though she and my dad actually married in the famous Salt Lake Temple.
This stately temple will always be one of my favorites. As I sat there enjoying the sunrise, I listened to the birds, and watched them as they flew around the spires of the temple. (Can you see them there, flitting around the left side of the temple?)
I should definitely visit this one again, but I'm glad to have had this experience right before Conference weekend.
