Kenya has imposed world's toughest laws to reduce plastic pollution , with people selling or using plastic bags at risk of up to 4 years in prison & fines of up to 4m Kenyan shillings.
With this move Kenya joins 40 others countries that have banned , partly banned or taxed single use plastic bags , including china , france , italy .
It took Kenya 3 attempts over 10 years to finally pass the ban.
