While it may be that, after the production of this Steemit article/video, some "laws" are stricken or changed, these are (or were) real "laws" that (are) were, at least at one time, on the books. Regardless, you can rest assured that our wise overlords and overpaid bureaucratic legislators working hard to make your life as complex and illegal as they possibly can.
So, let’s take a look some incredibly stupid and laughable laws that add to the body of evidence which points to our individual slavery in the land of the free.

The following are New York "laws"
The penalty for jumping off a building is death. (these "lawmakers" are brilliant!)
Citizens may not greet each other by “putting one’s thumb to the nose and wiggling the fingers”.

Women may go topless in public, providing it is not being used as a business. But…in a separate law, It’s illegal for a woman to be on the street wearing “body hugging clothing”. So, ladies, you can show your boobs, but leave the yoga pants in the closet.
