I received a copy of the Affidavit heading the Class Action against the Government's Covid response.
It seems that there is very little news in the media regarding this case.
I guess I can do my little bit to report on it.
affidavit; a written statement confirmed by oath or affirmation, for use as evidence in court.
I'll keep it short and sweet. I've already experienced a couple of heated discussions from people who agree, and oppose, this challenge.
It would seem that the Courts are meant to keep the Government's powers in check.
"It is recognised that Sovereign Governments must be provided the opportunity to make
decisions that require them to balance the competing needs to protect the public interest with
the need to protect human rights.
The Affidavit claims the following;
- That the Biosecurity Act 2015 is being breached in regards to the Covid response.
- States & Territories are exceeding their powers.
- That our country's Sovereignty is in question. Our Government is being influenced by outside parties who may not necessarily have Australia's interests at heart.
- The Covid numbers are dubious. There are many questionable methods of data collection.
- The Government attempting to force a vaccine upon the citizens breaches many laws, as well as, ethics.
- That, based on these arguments, the Government should rescind these breaches, enter into negotiation, or face a court case.
I am led to believe that the Government has failed to respond to the Affidavit.
