While I am sure you are all tired of CUB posts. I only started my DeFi journey only 3 days ago - and I am still very ignorant. I am trying to learn as I go here. To me this is exciting and big news in my small world. So here is a picture of a cute CUB to make up for it.
After waiting, and waiting, and waiting to be able to claim anythin from the DEN pool - I finally claimed about .2 CUB. That was enough to make me want more CUB so I could earn more CUB.... Got to put some money to work.
I have been selling some Splinterlands cards - and I had about 243,000 DEC... so my transaction looked like this.
DEC to SWAP.HIVE
SWAP.HIVE to LEO
Leo to bLEO
Panic.?.?
...panic and realize I was out of BNB to pay for the Gas Fee... I got basically no way to get BNB without a full blown KYC and most likely long wait period.. Crap - I now it stuck and couldn't move it.
This is were came to my rescue and sent me some BNB to pay for my gas fees. I am going to have to find a way to manage this long term and find a way to self fund my BNB... Otherwise I may just beg someone to sell me like $10 worth and hope that covers me for along time.
Back to the trade here we go
245,056 DEC to ~423 SWAP.HIVE
~423 SWAP.HIVE to 134 LEO
134 LEO to 133 bLEO
133 bLEO to 38.038 CUB...
While I wish it was easier to do - it really was not very painful, and honestly would have taken less than 5 min IF I had BNB. I can really see that become an issue for some.
Granted my small stake of 41 CUB is not where I would like it to be but its a start. I can already see a big difference in the fraction of CUB I am earning from the DEN. If I sell more cards (5 BCX Prince Reynn anyone?) my goal is to get to 100 CUB by the end of March. After that I will evaluate my holdings again.
At least for today - I am really happy at one last look before I got to bed.
Now I just have to be sure to only compound when there is honestly enough to do it, otherwise I will burn all the BNB and be stuck again!.
