3.1 Climate Finance, Green Finance, Sustainable Finance, Impact Finance, Net Zero? What are they?

Climate finance is the financing of the changes in the real asset structure of society required to transition the world from carbon-based energy to carbon-free energy and to finance the adaptation of the world (households, corporates, cities, countries) through for example protective sea walls (such as Venice may require), air conditioning to cope with increased temperature and changes in road surfaces to minimise tar melting.
