Politicians have no problem coming up with many ways to take funds from hardworking everyday Americans, but when it comes to giving them something of value, for the violence they must endure, then that gets a little more complicated for them.
They will approve of spending trillions of dollar on what they want, and spending billions of dollars overseas to other countries, but are less giving when considering what they will give the people who they work for. That is evident by the political arguing that has taken place recently over the $2,000 stimulus checks, and it was obvious that whoever stood in the way of those getting passed that they weren't going to be let off the hook that easy. People who were disappointed over not getting higher funds were going to be looking for someone to blame when they didn't get their funds.
Already, various lawmakers have had their homes vandalized over their actions to prevent those higher stimulus checks from coming through. You can see what some of the property damage looks like from the message that was sprayed above on one of the doors to the homes.
The message they left reads, 'Where's My Money?", and another property had the message written that read 'We Want Everything', with other vandalism markings.
You can find many angry tweets and other online messages that people are now sharing, that are calling for these lawmakers to now be replaced, voted out because of their efforts to stop those $2,000 stimulus checks. Some Trump supporters have also voiced their discontent, wondering why he wouldn't let that be one of his last moves before leaving to give people the $2,000 checks that he talked about, but instead others are getting the blame now for blocking it.
For a nation that can spend trillions on harmful and unjust war activities around the world, and for lawmakers that regularly approve of actions that steal billions of dollars from innocent Americans, it is comical to see them argue to the extent that they have about giving out $600 or $2,000 stimulus checks to the people who they work for and whose financial futures they've been putting at risk for decades.
