Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Bagai said on the 6th (local time) that the U.S. is still considering a proposal to end the war, Iran's semi-official ISNA news agency said.
Iran is still reviewing the U.S. plans and proposals, and will put Iran's position together and deliver them to the Pakistani side, Bagai said in an interview with ISNA news agency.
In a related development, ISNA news agency added, "It is worth noting that the U.S. media has recently attempted to cover up the failure of the U.S. president's "Project Freedom" by spreading speculation and fake news to create an atmosphere favorable to Trump and the U.S."
"The U.S. media outlet Axios reported some of the contents of the agreement that the U.S. is reviewing with Iran, which our authorities have recently strongly rejected as it contains unreasonable and unrealistic proposals," ISNA said.
"Part of the Axios report is for media speculation and setting the tone, and we have received reliable information that what the Iranian negotiating team is discussing is an 'end of war' issue and nuclear issues are not discussed at this stage of negotiations," he said.
This draws attention as it draws a line to the observation that the U.S. and Iran are close to reaching an agreement on the end of the war.
The Axios report discussed by ISNA news agency is that the U.S. and Iran are close to signing a 'one-page' memorandum of understanding (MOU) that contains a framework for ending the war and solving the nuclear problem.
The MOU reportedly included the temporary suspension of Iran's nuclear enrichment (moratorium), the lifting of U.S. sanctions against Iran and the lifting of some of the frozen funds, the gradual lifting of restrictions on Iran's passage to the Strait of Hormuz, and the gradual lifting of U.S. maritime blockade of Iran.
The White House is said to be waiting for an Iranian response to a key issue within 48 hours.

It seems like a framework is taking shape.
Iran will likely make significant concessions to create the appearance of ending the war, but there is a high probability that substantial compensation measures will be included.
Israel may expand its territory again, and the United States will benefit from massive exports of oil and gas.
In the end, everything is caused by and results in money.
