Iran's new supreme leader, Moztava Khamenei, has declared that he will introduce a new management system in the Strait of Hormuz, evaluating that the U.S. attack ended in a shameful defeat.
In a message released on social media X and state media on the occasion of Persian Gulf Day on the 30th, Supreme Leader Moztava said, "A new chapter in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz is opening."
"The Persian Gulf has been the target of aggression by powers for centuries, but Iran has fought against it," he stressed.
"The Islamic Revolution was a turning point in this resistance, and it is time to cut off the hands of the oppressors altogether," he added.
Moztava criticized, "It has been proven that U.S. military bases in the region are weak and cannot guarantee the safety of allies," adding, "The U.S. presence is only the cause of regional instability."
As for the future regional order initiative, he promised, "The bright future of the Persian Gulf is a future without the United States," adding, "We will implement a new Strait of Hormuz management system that blocks the use of adversaries."
In addition, he made it clear that he would firmly protect related technologies from the United States and Israel by mobilizing all scientific and technological capabilities such as nano, bio, nuclear, and missiles to protect the territory.
"The only foreign position that came with malice from 10,000 kilometers away is the bottom of the sea," he said, warning that "victory through resistance policy will be a prelude to opening a new regional order."
Moztava, who became the third supreme leader after his father Ali Khamenei was killed in a U.S.-Israel airstrike on Feb. 28, is now refraining from direct foreign action and communicating mainly in writing.
In recent years, foreign media have analyzed that the supreme leader of Moztava has not yet taken full control of power, and that generals from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are leading practical decision-making.

"There are no signs that Iran’s system is wavering.
It seems outsiders cannot grasp how solid the union of religion and politics really is.
I hope the negotiations proceed smoothly."
