U.S. President Donald Trump said on the 24th (local time) that he received a "very big gift" from Iran, which is at war with the U.S. and Israel.
"Actually, they gave us a gift. The gift arrived today," Trump told reporters at the swearing-in ceremony of new Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen at the White House.
He added, "It was a very big gift worth a huge amount. I'm not going to let you guys know what the gift is."
Asked what "gift" meant, President Trump replied, "It wasn't about nuclear. It was about oil and gas."
"They did a very good job. What it showed me is that we are dealing with the right people," he said.
"They agreed that (Iran) should no longer have any nuclear weapons and that they will not enrich (uranium)," he said. "We are in the best position in negotiations."
The "they" referred to by President Trump could be interpreted as the Iranian government or leadership in context, but it could also mean some kind of other force that he said he was negotiating.

It’s hard to trust such a person, so it’s difficult to believe outright,
but perhaps some faction within Iran may have promised business rights over resources to the United States.
With that self-centered mindset, there is no place for allies anyway.
The pain falls upon us.
