U.S. President Donald Trump said on the 10th (local time) that Iran's answer to the U.S. proposal to end the war is unacceptable.
"I just read a response from Iran's so-called 'representatives'," Trump said on social media Truth Social. "I don't like this. It's completely unacceptable."
Previously, the United States sent a proposal to Iran for an end to the war.
In this regard, U.S. Internet media Axios reported on the 6th that the two countries were close to signing a one-page memorandum of understanding (MOU).
President Trump said in a meeting with reporters at the White House on the 8th, "I'll probably get a letter tonight," but Iran's state-run IRNA news agency reported that Iran responded to the U.S. through Pakistan, a mediator.
The U.S. proposal is said to be key to Iran's 20-year suspension of uranium enrichment, which is used as a nuclear weapons material, and guaranteeing the free passage of international ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
In the SNS post, President Trump did not say whether to maintain the ceasefire with Iran, which has been going on since last month, or whether to continue negotiations with Iran.
In the end, while Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and the U.S. maritime blockade of Iran (reverse blockade of Hormuz) are confronting each other, the U.S.-Iran war is facing another crisis as negotiations are on the verge of collapse.
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz said in an interview with ABC News that President Trump is "giving diplomacy every opportunity possible before returning to hostile behavior," and at the same time, President Trump is certainly ready to resume attacks on Iran.

It seems that Iran wants to end the war with a better negotiation that they can claim as a victory.
The United States appears to have the same stance.
Since neither country has the ability to truly conclude the war,
they are negotiating for a declaration of victory,
which makes the possibility of prolongation quite high.
To anyone watching, both countries look rather childish.
