The U.S. court ruled that global tariffs brought up by U.S. President Donald Trump against the mutual tariff violation are illegal.
The U.S. Court of International Trade (USCIT) ruled in favor of the plaintiff on the 7th (local time), saying that President Trump's 10% "global tariffs" on the world were illegal.
The court ordered a permanent ban on the 10% global tariffs, saying they could not be applied to importers who sued, and ordered the Trump administration to refund the tariffs already paid to plaintiffs with interest.
However, he did not accept the request for universal application of the global tariff ban order beyond plaintiff companies.
In February, President Trump again applied 10% of global tariffs based on Article 122 of the Trade Act, which allows tariffs to be imposed for up to 150 days to correct the balance of payments deficit, after the Supreme Court ruled that the imposition of mutual tariffs based on the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) was illegal or invalid.
In response, U.S. small and medium-sized companies, including spice importer Burlap and Barrel and toy importer Basic Fun, filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court of International Trade in March, saying the 10% global tariffs imposed by the Trump administration under Section 122 of the Trade Act were illegal.

The court has once again confirmed that Trump is running the government while disregarding legal procedures.
It seems likely that additional lawsuits will soon be filed, each requiring costly responses, and he will lose a significant number of them.
Now we’ll have to wait and see what new chaos he stirs up.
The world’s biggest headaches are Trump and Netanyahu.
