[E-Daily Reporter Ahn So-hyun] On the 3rd, Ahn Cheol Soo's People's Power criticized President Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party of Korea for an "extra budget for election tickets."
Rep. Ahn said on his Facebook page, "When the cosmetics sidecar exploded, Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party had a selfie party for cheering and clapping at the National Assembly," adding, "Is it really an extra budget to cope with the war crisis and economic crisis?"
"President Lee delivered a speech on the revision of the revised supplementary budget bill to the National Assembly on Wednesday," he said. "The current crisis is not a 'downpour' but a storm," and only mentioned 'crisis' 28 times. However, the word 'crisis' was overshadowed right after the speech."
"Democratic lawmakers flocked to take face stamps and selfies with President Lee, and cheered and applauded, reminiscent of the festival site," he recalled.
"At the same time, the reality outside the plenary session was disastrous," he said. "The exchange rate exceeded the 1,520 won level, the oil price reached 100 dollars, and the KOSPI plunged more than 4 percent. The people shed blood and tears, and trillions of won in corporate market capitalization evaporated in an instant."
"When President Lee delivered a speech and enjoyed the extra budget on the eve of the National Assembly, the stock market screamed, with selling sidecars triggered in the stock market," Ahn said. "If Lee truly sympathized with the pain of the people, and if the emphasis on 28 crises was sincere, would such a happy and optimistic atmosphere be possible? In a crisis situation in the National Assembly, it is the responsibility of the president and lawmakers to strengthen their commitment to overcome the crisis in a solemn atmosphere."
In addition, he added, "In the end, it has revealed itself that it is an 'extra budget for certification shots' that is far from the lives of the people, and an 'extra budget for tickets' for elections that are shown off by corporate taxes paid by companies and taxes from sincere taxpayers."

"Throughout his time as a member of the National Assembly, Ahn Cheol-soo has never once strongly advocated for amending the Commercial Act. Moreover, last time he even stepped aside for candidate unification to support Yoon Seok-yeol, only to end up like a mere backdrop—gaining nothing, breaking trust, and remaining silent when the presidential pledge of Commercial Act reform was abandoned and replaced with vague talk of Capital Market Act revision.
To criticize those who worked hard to improve and normalize the market, while only pointing to a plunging market situation, shows a shamelessness beyond measure.
Once the market is normalized, it grows on its own. The market operates according to its principles, unless it becomes a dictatorship.
Even if you cannot achieve progress, at the very least, strive to be a person of common sense.
Though I am not sure if that is still possible."
