Dear Someone,
Dear someone is a series of letters written to someone, no one, everyone, and nothing. It is the intent to share my memories and moments with others. Some of these are works of pure fiction. Others speak straight to from the heart. No offense is intended, some memories have been shifted. Names have been carefully omitted and some situations have been purposefully rewritten to protect those involved.
Look at the moon.
Dear Someone,
Many miles lay between us. I wish it weren’t this way. This is how life has taken us. Be it a grand scheme, or a chaotic design this is where we are.
At night, on a clear night, I look up at the stars. I wonder if you can see them where you are. Bright and shining in the sky. Can you see them up above? I look at the moon every now and again and hope that maybe you are looking up at it too. We are sharing that moment together. Silently, our hearts sing a song. When you look at the moon does your heart hope that I am staring back at it too?
Tis a foolish thought, yes. But one I will always try for. Maybe one day I will tell you, text you to see if you can spot the moon… if you cannot, what then? Orion's belt perhaps. The big dipper? What heavenly body do we gaze upon to share the moment? The sun would be a good choice too if it weren’t so painful on the eyes…
Until then I shall look to the sky, at night. Seeing the stars shining brightly. Wondering if you are looking up at them too, Thinking of me.
Thank you for reading this. I hope it reaches you and helps you. I’ve always said I’d love to use the pain and torment of my life to help others. if the words I write help you through what you are going through than my life had purpose. If it hit you right in the feelings and brought up memories long forgotten. I hope you see that those memories are always a part of you.
