Transphobia is rampant throughout steem, and is reinforced by many people in positions of relative power.
I find it very interesting that you denied in your comments your admiration for Stalin and Soviet Union, and yet this sentence of yours awfully resembles Marxist ideology which was based on the hypothesis that evil bourgeois was enslaving the proletariat, in the economic system where everything was oriented towards maintaining the working class poor and making rich people ever richer. I guess I don't have to remind you that communism and Marxism as an ideology were completely rejected by the end of the 1960s, as by far the most destructive economic and political doctrine that has ever been invented by mankind.
Unfortunately, during the 1970s, the Marxist ideology arose from the ashes under the mask of post-modernism, where instead of making the victim out of the working class, the focus is placed on creating allegedly oppressed identity groups (arbitrary formed based on their sexual/gender identity and gender expression as most convenient categories), by the evil oppressors from the "positions of power". The ultimate aim of post-modernists (or neo-Marxists) is to gain power by limiting the freedom of speech, which is achieved through calling any person who provides alternative view to theirs a transphobe, a bigot, and others made-up terms. This strategy has turned out to be particularly effective, because people, out of fear of being declared in such manner, accept playing their game and calling them by their preferred pronouns.
To conclude, personally I don't think that here on Steemit people are "transphobes", and especially not those people you referred to. I highly doubt that anyone cares at all about your biological sex, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. You have the absolute right to be whatever you feel most comfortable with. And no one has the right to take that right away from you.
Now speaking for myself, the problem I have with all this is when people are trying to limit my freedom of speech by putting the "politically correct" words in my mouth. And I'm pretty sure most of the people would agree with me on this, if they had a courage to speak openly (but again, I'm speaking only for myself, because I cannot confirm this).
I will never conform to the twisted, radical left, post-modern ideology, and I will never restrain from speaking my opinion about things and from using any sort of words I find appropriate to do so.
Because I have the right to speak up my opinion, and you have the right to be offended, same goes vice versa.
