This opinion is based on the assumption that Homosexuality is normal and existed at all times, and people only get aware of it once "religious prohibitions" are removes.
Well let us examine this logically. We will test the hypothesis with two opposite scenarios.
First: conditions where "religious prohibitions" are high must result in lower Homosexuality prevalence or awareness.
Second: conditions where "religious prohibitions" are low must result in higher Homosexuality prevalence or awareness.
For the first case: Israel, Persian Iran, Afghanistan, Vatican, and Pakistan show that high "religious prohibitions" is associated with high Homosexuality prevalence or awareness.
For the second case: we can find tens of nations and states in present and in the past where "religious prohibitions" are nonexistent at all but still they have very low, or even no cases of Homosexuality.
This bring us to question Does Homosexuality relate to political, social, and ethnic history?
