Re "is free trade perfect and doesn't hurt people", there are some cases where people clearly are hurt - a very extreme example, some "green" car drivers importing "environmentally friendly" biofuels, while people die from hunger in said country because it's more profitable to use the farmland for producing biofuels for the international market than food for the domestic market.
Still, I'd say - fuck country borders! Another extreme example, my father-in-law is Russian, born Ukrainian, and used to have good relationship with his brothers in Kiev. Today his new-year-greetings weren't returned.
