Half Truths Make Whole Lies
There is an old Yiddish proverb that I find relevant when looking at the current Pandemic. ‘Half-Truths Make Whole Lies’. The older I get, the more I realize that most issues are never as clear cut as we’d like to believe and involve many elements that are grey, particularly when dealing with the machinations of government and the media. Even when people are being absolutely sincere and truthful in their foretelling of events, they can often be disseminators of the greatest untruth for fiction, bias and invention are an inseparable part of how the mainstream media perceives reality.
For the record, I believe Covid19 or various mutations of ‘The Rona’ (That’s what we’re calling it here in Australia) are killing people. That being said, I also believe mainstream media is sensationalizing matters and that the statistics around mortality and infection rates are unclear or dubious at worst. The Chinese government, on one hand, is reporting deaths from the virus that are alleged to be grossly inconsistent with the reports of coffins being ordered. Moreover, they are censoring their citizens from reporting on what’s really going on there.
On the other hand, the criteria for victims that have died from the virus and the lack of uniformity in the tests being carried out by various governments’ raises a lot of questions for me on the validity of the stats being projected.
As Above So Below
There’s good reason to believe that elements to what’s going on here are planned, given the clockwork precision and order in which the draconian laws have been set in place along with the rolling out of 5G towers and schemes for mandatory vaccinations. I do however believe that this virus likely came about from the wild markets through our mistreatment of animals and that our current plight is connected to the karmic repercussions of this. Can we really be surprised by how we are enslaved by governments when we collectively enslave billions of animals each year to satiate our glutenous pleasures?
The way most governments are handling this pandemic is no surprise to me. This is how Socialist/Communist governments work and I believe most of the public will be on board with the government’s actions until it’s too late. The majority of the world does not value freedom over security and is motivated to comply with authoritarian governments out of fear, hive mentality and a misplaced sense of trust. My workmate recently suggested to me that our government should do what China was doing in January i.e bolt people in their homes, use drones to monitor individuals stepping outside and use their mobile phones to track the level of risk they have so that people with a high-risk level could be denied access to certain areas.
Nations rarely get the governments they need, they get the governments they deserve.
