The human body is so complicated!!!
It is very complex and quiet difficult to understand.
Modern Scientists are still trying to figure out how and why our body system works. In fact, we still do not funny understand the reasons why we experience our emotions in the way that we do. This brings us to one of the biggest mysteries of all -
What exactly happens before our death???.
Doctors have reported it quiet common for dying patients to make similar comments before the moment of death . They also have shown that they have a comprehension that death is near, at times, before doctors themselves . Even when their observations show to have been stable and improved, the dying have been reported to make comments feeling their death is near.
Patients often say goodbye to their loved ones and friends, It's as like as though they have a sixth sense that it is time to go - fixing up unfinished business with past enemies so that they can pass away in peace.
I personally see this as very positive as it gives the opportunity to say goodbye for the last time.
Yet , there are skeptics who believe this to be purely coincidence and believe it is not possible to guess when the time of death is drawing near and closer at hand than we realize.
One such study into the theory was conducted at University of Kent's school of psychology , which analyzed the possibility that it is possible for people to predict their time of death through scent.
The study concluded that shortly after death, the human body breaks down and releases many scents. One such scent is known as putrescine, which is produced by the breakdown of amino acids in living and dead organisms and although it may go unnoticed to the the human conscience, subconsciously our brain can recognize the smell and send signals that death is drawing near.
Different experiments were trialed with the compound and each time the participants associated the smell with negative emotions, even though they could not conclude why this was so or that such emotion was connected to fear or death. This may be due to the fact that only the subconscious mind has the capability of detecting this as so.
Smells have been used on a much wider scale to detect feelings of stress and unease.
Such studies can be seen as a lesson for us to never neglect a request from a sick loved one to visit them. It may be their only chance to say goodbye- something that if left unattended to, can cause a sense of regret for the rest of ones life.
