Kindness have no boundaries, religion or culture. I was so touched by this kindness story that has proven that kindness is color blind. Malaysia is a multiracial country with 3 major races, Malay, Chinese and Indian. Malaysians live harmoniously in this country and we are a role model to other nations and an example of a country that lives harmoniously together.
In this video with duration of 2.51 minutes taken at a food court, a Malay man was seen holding a plate laden with food, which he gently feeds to a grey-haired haggard looking homeless Indian man seated beside him. I am impressed, only a mother would feed her children lovingly with hand. It's very hard to find someone like this, he is an example and a good role model for our younger generations. He is my hero, his act of kindness was beyond race and religion.
After being fed a mouthful or two, the old man gestures that he doesn’t want any more food although he is likely being polite and not wishing to appear greedy. When the Malay man continues to feed him anyway, the old man accepts more food and sips a drink. “Eat… eat… have you eaten yet? Here’s some prawn… it’s delicious,” the Malay man says, scooping up some prawns with rice. However the Indian man stands up at this point, gesturing that he does not want more food, and leaves the table. The Malay man still try his best to persuade the uncle gently, by moving to another table, placing the plate on the table and gently inviting him to eat some more, but the uncle at this point has decided to leave. You can see that the Malay man still standing watching the uncle who walked away and hoping the uncle would come back to eat more, but the uncle had already left for sure.
The location of the food court as well as the names of the men were unknown. The exact date when the video was recorded was also unclear. It was first published in February 2017 in Tamil Media Malaysia Facebook on 15 February 2017.
