Remember, I’ve told you that I’ve started a one-year course on refining my way of thinking in order to acquire even more wealth? Today I would like to share some thoughts that were provoked by that course.
At any course, it feels very important to keep an open mind. I’ve learned it back then when I was learning coaching. This state of mind is actually the thing that allows you to learn at all. When you leave a chance to things you don’t believe are true or correct. In this aspect, the only crucial thing is to be a learner, not a follower. This means that you don’t just simply believe everything you’re told, but have your ways to try it and check it for yourself, if it suits you.
This is a very thin difference – whether you’re rejecting something “just because” or did you try it and found out it wasn’t yours, as well as accepting something just because you follow the thing someone said, or because you experimentally found out it was something that works for you and is acceptable?
It’s not easy to honestly answer even for yourself which is the case in a certain situation, still it’s a good question to ponder about.
Also, a thing to follow for successful people is consistency. It’s way more productive and effective to do things little by little, but every day rather than a lot of, but from time to time.
And even if sometimes you feel like it’s worthless, because you don’t see results, it’s a good thing to just follow your intention and finish those things you’ve set goal to do.
The first month is focused on self-acceptance.
I truly believe this to be the most fundamental concept of all. Everything else, even confidence and others, come from self-acceptance.
I must admit, it is quite a job to accept yourself. It’s even harder work to accept that we’re not accepting ourselves. It’s easier to just pretend we’re “ideal” or not so ideal, we have some flaws and know them, but then ignore some other important things about ourselves.
Self-acceptance comes through daring to do something you’re afraid of and then daring to accept the consequences. The thing here is that when accepting things, you feel very good and peaceful.
The powerful thing to find peace and tranquility is through meditation. And this is the exact way how the course goes, it offers to meditate each day, and even better – twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. What I do for now it’s once a day, at the moment I didn’t organize everything in such a way that I would have so much time for myself. I hope this year will become the one with a breakthrough exactly in planning and organization.
As we’re talking here all the time about finances it’s quite important to understand, that by willing to improve our financial state we actually are willing to achieve some more important goals than that, some goals of spiritual value, otherwise no money ever will make us happy.
It was very valuable so far to answer such questions as:
- What is the thing/aspects/etc in my financial life now, that I want to let go, to be free from?
- What I want to create and/or achieve in my financial life?
- What is that feeling I want to feel concerning my financial life and money?
For me those answers were:
- I want to let go the need to think about finances every day and to work daily in order to earn the desired money
- I want to create and achieve freedom - the freedom to do what I want and when I want, and my financial flow allows me to do this
- The feeling would be calmness, confidence, relaxation.
If you try answering those questions honestly, especially in the written form, you're sure to have some insights. 🤗
