State Duma deputy Vasily Vlasov proposed to transfer the election of the Russian president, governors and deputies of the lower house of parliament to an electronic platform based on the blockbuster. He laid out the corresponding initiative in writing and sent to the head of the CEC Elle Pamfilova.
For the electronic elections of higher bodies of state power, the deputy proposed to create a special functional portal of state services and combine it with GAS "Vybory".
In his opinion, this will allow increasing the number of voters, reduce the burden on the state budget, exclude the possibility of falsifications, and the blocking system will prevent the possibility of external interference in the electoral process.
"I ask you to consider the possibility of transition of the voting process in the elections of the highest state authorities of the Russian Federation to electronic form," the appeal says.
Vlasov stressed that first remote elections can be organized in the form of a pilot project in one of the regions, for example in Moscow, and in case of success, to apply at elections of a higher level in other subjects of the country.
According to the idea of the author of the initiative, several years of transition period are necessary for the transfer of elections to the distance form. At this time, you can combine Internet voting and voting at polling stations
