I agree that global warming has a say in the heat wave. But a more direct reason for the heat is because of the northern jet stream being more north than usual. Gennerally the weather will not only become hotter, but it is actually the extremes that will rise. So we will also se, hurricanes bigger than ever, rain that will be worse, and maybe even extremely cold winters how odd it might seem
