For men, buy a cheap electric shaver (with a popout trimmer) for $30 and use that most of the time. It will be sharp enough for roughly 6+ months (unless you don't mind a rough result then push it past a year as I do). Only use a blade when you need a smooth result (which is mostly never for men).
