I find dreams to be some of the most peaceful moments of my life, filled with a combination of fear and serene joy of the dream-adventure itself. Most of the time I am in some kind of role. In my most recent dream, I found myself to be a dragon-kin, and the world about me was Egyptian, filled with different types of dragons which all had personalities a bit like the states of emotion. Near the end of the dream, I was talking to the sad dragon who didn’t want to come to the communion to discuss political matters. I convinced it to go.
I took the dream for what it was, but based on recent happenings in my life I did sense that the dream was conjuring some pent-up dissatisfaction with my work ethic. Most of the time though, I like to just look at the dream as a story because my mind is geared to look at life as a story with many metaphorical layers. I suppose this might be why I have such vivid dreams.
