Everyone will be having a dream to become something in their life, some become succeed in achieving in it and some are not. This is due to the deficiency of trying hard to get what you wanted to get. Even though some try really hard, they wouldn't get there. This is purely due to luck. There is a proverb in telugu language and we say it like this:
Manishiki yentha pattudhala vunna, aavaginja antha adhrushtam vundaali ani
This proverb translates to english as, even though you did your best, you must possess luck a size of mustard grain. We can say like it's not our time. Everything can be achieved through hardwork and dedication, but when time is not on our side we won't be having what we wanted.
When it's not our time, our efforts won't be recognised and we could not be able to do it. For example in my secondary school education time, many friends of mine had worked hard to score good and be recognised by the school management to take a picture of them and show it to the public as a public stunt. Some even studied day and night to achieve it. But, after finals exams over and when the marks are out. My school didn't make it to even to the top list. Everyone got less marks.
Our school has to decrease their eligible score to be on the flexi in the public areas just to cover we have this much of people who got good scores. In that I too a member. Even though I didn't try hard and didn't studied well, my name was on the flexi. When it's your time, you would get it even though you didn't wish for it. That's how life works. Some of my friends are jealous due to only my name was selected and not theirs. I can see in some of their eyes.
From my previous posts you people may had get the idea that I had to wait five years after my academics to get a job, because of my poor communication skills and not fluent in technical subject. My friend referred me in his company. He would have suggested this job my other roommate and due to his sheer negligence he didn't applied to it as the salary was so low. But I applied to it as I didn't have any job at that time and I wanted to just experience how it will be if I get a job.
After two months I was sent to another client location from where my salary has improved by three times of my basic salary. I felt so good. If only I had missed this opportunity by it's salary I would have been a fool. My other roommate really become a fool for rejecting that opportunity. Life would give you plenty of opportunities, we have to select based on our ability and needs and not something else. At that time I only wanted a job, not salary.
At that time it became clear to me that our chances of getting what we wanted is based on my mostly luck and hardwork. We work only on hardwork part as we can see the improvement and as for luck we can't see it therefore we won't believe it. It's there and it's all about timing.
