Last winter the ultimate disaster occurred at the my home; a Windows update arrived and my PC reacted badly and had to be put out of its misery. All good then, nothing for it, but to dig deep into the pockets and a new computer was bought. A very nice, shiny, all singing all dancing gaming/entertainment PC now hides behind our TV and everyone is happy. Then comes the wonderful task of reinstalling software and reconnecting web based accounts.
Where the bloody hell did I put my Steemit password? Ooops! (And other words to that effect)
Summer is here and while looking for another piece of paper with some important notes on, there is my long lost steemit password. And I am back to writing on Steemit again.
The moral of this salutary tale is that while security is good and very important, being able to find your secure password in the event of disaster is also sort of important.
