My boyfriend, Hive account@badseedalchemist, and I, have a 1995 ford windstar 3.8 . We are fairly certain that our tranny needs replaced. hoping not though The fluid level is good, has been changed, and looks good in color. It doesn't shift into 3rd gear. If you pull over and turn it off and back on it will continue driving again until you reach about 25 to 30 mph. The overdrive light blinks, but not always. The diagnostic tool read cam shaft positioning sensor and mass airflow sensor. We had both of them replaced. Runs better but still when around 25 to 30 mph it is not engaging. Feels like you are in neutral when push gas.
Would really appreciate some feedback on this. Not only is this our vehicle but at this moment it is our home. Thank you
