The Liberal government of Canada who've backed the Police State Bill C51 for many years now, has announced that legislation next month is coming, to legalize marijuana in Canada by July 1, 2018
Each Province in the nation will have right to decide how marijuana is sold / distributed:
2 key points here on these dates nobody is talking about:
July 1st is Canada Day -- and no doubt this day was chosen as a nice PR move.
It just happens to be right in time for them to gain traction for the next Federal election only 15 months later. Also a PR move.
It's government and politics though, right????
Not just taking a pot shot at them either.

Reports say the policy will be announced during the week of April 10, while others in the mainstream "media" in Canadastan here, (the Globe and Mail) suggested the bill be introduced on 4/20 - April 20, the symblic date in the cannabis community.
Last year on 4/20, Health Minister Jane Philpott announced during a special session of the UN General Assembly in New York, that the Federal government planned to adopt the legislation legalizing marijuana in spring 2017. The government is famous for making promises, not delivering and delaying or stalling as long as possible as we know anywhere in life.
This is an issue that united Canadians. It is an issue that based on the Liberals promises on the campaign trail -- most agree-- pushed them to victory. Not many dispute this, based on the huge claims and daily promises.
Then again, one of their elected and appointed heads of this policy sector is retired former Police Chief Bill Blair who was running things in the famous Police State G20- beatdowns and lock ups of residents en masse not long ago in the Toronto region (GTA) -- not far from where I actually live.
Bill Blair is parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Justice.
He was head of likely the LARGEST POLICE FORCES IN ALL OF CANADA. The Toronto Police force.
Not many talking about him either.
