A man was arrested and charged with incest (incest) after they gave birth and then made plans to get married.
The blood relation was done by Steven Pladl, 42, and his daughter Katie Pladl, 20. The American citizen was later arrested on the report of his dumped wife.
Katie was Steven's long-standing biological son. Katie was adopted from baby and lived in another state. She reconnected with her mother and father in August 2016 through social media.
Shortly after Katie moved and lived with them, Steven and his wife were separated legally. The wife told police that since then, her husband has slept in their daughter's room.
Steven and Katie were arrested last week at their home in Knightdale, North Carolina, after Steven's discarded wife told police he was impregnating their daughter. The wife also said that she knew that Katie was pregnant and Steven was a father in May 2017 when she read a note written by one of her other children.

KRON 4 reported that Katie reconnected with her biological parents when she was 18 years old. In August 2016, Katie went to live with her parents and two other children in their home near Richmond, Virginia. The report stated that Steven and his wife were legally separated three months later, in November 2016.
The same report says, Steven has asked the two younger children to refer to Katie as their stepmother, even though she is their brother. Steven also confessed that Katie's baby was her son and said they were planning to get married.
Katie posted an Instagram photo in July stating that she and Steven were married, although they could not legally do it. Katie's son was born in September.
Police said after May 2017, Katie and Steven moved to Wake County, North Carolina together. A detention warrant was issued to them in November 2017 and they were arrested at their Knightdale home in January.
Authorities said when they were arrested a baby boy was with them. They have been charged with incest with adults and adultery. In the state of Virginia, incest is a crime. According to Virginia's legislative information system, 'anyone committing adultery or fornication with a person prohibited by law to be married will be guilty of a minor offense of Class 1.
