Oh wow! What a week we have had! I hope you guys all had a fantastic Christmas and spent lots of quality time with family and friends!
I haven't been blogging or reading blogs over the Christmas period because we have been way to busy, but it is great to be back and I am looking forward to catching up with everyone :)
I think I must have gained a few lbs' over the festive period, so I really have to get out there and walk the dogs even more than usual to shed this extra padding I seem to have gained lol. I like to think of it as 'winter insulation' hehe.
So now, we get to look forward to a new year, 2018. I wonder what delights it will bring! As I look back and reflect on 2017, I realise how lucky I am to have my amazing hubster here for support with everything that I do, with our family unit and of course our dogs. He is amazing and I am so grateful to have him in my life :)
I am also grateful for my friends and family who have supported me when times were hard, and celebrated with me when I achieved success. I seem to have lost a couple of friends along the way too, but I guess that is life, people grow apart and take different paths.
For 2018, I am looking forward to continuing with my blogging on Steemit, developing my photography skills, perhaps even invest in a DSLR! Who knows! :D
I am also looking forward to growing my own vegetables again in the garden, I see this as preparation for when I finally achieve my dream of being a homesteader/smallholder. I am also hoping to rescue some ex battery hens and make a nice new home for them in my garden, you never know, they may thank me with an egg or two!
I also want to diversify my Cryptocurrency Portfolio, so I will be spending a lot of time researching new ICO's and current coins. I am lucky to have an experienced trader (my bro) on hand for help and advice. But I am sure I will be asking plenty of questions here on steemit too!
I am looking forward to having a new litter of puppies towards the end of next year, as long as everything is all good with the pooches. It feels like forever ago since I had a litter! I take quite a bit of time finding the right stud though as I don't like to rush into things. Especially as my main goal is improving the health and gene pool for English Bulldogs in the UK.
So I guess these are like my 'New Years Resolutions' although, I don't do resolutions, I just try to live my life instead of existing and look forward to everything that I have yet to experience!
So what will 2018 bring for you guys?
Thanks for reading, it is great to be back! :D
Much love, xx
