Crypto Newbie and Steemit blogging - My Journey part 2 - OMG coin and BTC crash

Well, I have to say this last week has been an eye opener!

My bro, Hive account@dobsdies not only predicted a second drop in BTC, but also called the OMG coin as being the next big thing, which after the recent days events, it certainly seems to be becoming a reality! Go Bro!

Since my last crypto post (which is here if you would like to read it https://steemit.com/steemit/@beautifulbullies/investing-in-cryptocurrries-steem-and-steemit-my-newbie-journey ), I have now (thanks again to my bro) invested some ETH into Bitpetite. I am currently gaining 4.5% daily and it is paying out which is awesome! I am aware that this is high risk, but it was more for using it as a learning curve, rather than making millions. I hope we get to week 6 without the site shutting down, but if not, I only invested what I could afford to lose and in the meantime I am learning about transactions, wallets, exchanges and different coins that are popular right now.

What else have I done you ask? Well, I have collected enough money from the free faucets and intend on buying steem whilst it is down! Bonus! So really I guess I am putting my faith in this platform to do well in the future. I am certain that it will grow and thrive.

I am looking to buy OMG coins since the latest partnerships made with McDonalds, Google and I believe they are also in talks with Visa. It is early days still, but from what I understand, this could be a great time to get into the coin.

I still haven't learned how to chart predictor graphs yet, it is on my list of things to do. I have had a couple of Steemit veterans ( Hive account@barrydutton Hive account@theghost1980) offer me great advice on blogging, investing and how to learn more about crypto-currencies.

Hive account@starkerz has also invited us to the Steemit meetup in Birmingham on the 16th September, so I am hoping to be able to attend and network with more amazing people as well as learn more about the platform and the future plans for steem.
