verification schmerification why I will only verify myself in the way I want to
steemland, the only place where you are accepted by the masses if you have a first life photo dated to 'prove' your authenticity, so far in my experience many tell me I should 'verify' myself, to which I tend to giggle and walk away, you see I really don't care whether you believe I am human and therefor somehow more authentic, many humans in my experience are not in any way authentic and no photo of them holding a dated piece of paper will make me show interest, if dear reader you feel this is important to you then I respect that, it is not important to me at all how you feel about me, this world and many others is full of the minutiae of dealing with the opinions of others heaped upon me when I do not seek them so here in my little corner of the webspace I shall not now or ever show you a photo of my first life, I have my reasons, the main one being either you enjoy my writings or you don't I am not going to show you anything I don't want to and to my mind who I am and whether or not anyone feels I am somehow verified by a picture bears no relevance to the enjoyment of my writing
However I do not mind showing my second life incarnation and those of you who have read my other posts may have noticed I am more than happy to share part of that life with you, just as I am happy to share some of my thoughts with you, the visual representation will always be my second life image
I also don't like that my first life image in no way helps you in determining the type of person I am, to look at me dear reader you would suffer assumptions everyone does, it is often a surprise to others when I begin to speak , I always destroy the preconceived notions they have when first seeing me
Change, it's a constant you know, today I feel comfortable being this person, tomorrow I may feel another way, should I choose to evolve again, I work hard at evolving, then I will be another person again, did that picture in any way help? Does it still verify the person I choose to become? What if the person I choose to become is so different to the person I am now that every view I hold every comment I write you cannot accept, am I still authentic because I once had a picture with a date on?
I am not a picture, I am a free person, yes I adore and will quote the prisoner (1) at you it is a very unique experience, and echoes a lot of my thoughts, so here I will quote as is my truest representation, in the words of the prisoner;
I will not be pushed, filed,debriefed, or numbered I am a free man,
you can add verified to this and also the fact I am a woman
I am still me , in all lives, first second third, this world, that world another world, in all spaces and all times I am me, in my second life I am even more introverted than than in my first life I tend to go there to relax and create, and sometimes I travel, that life is almost as interesting at times as other lives I have experienced and I enjoy traveling through other peoples imaginations, the creativity is amazing and I love the place I often feel more at home there than in any other life, I feel that all lives I experience are authentic, all of my lives, all of your lives, each experience is to be judged on its own merit
In my experience I strive to live all my lives in a way I feel comfortable with, I am only concerned with how I live my lives I am not concerned with how anyone else feels about how I live my lives, I am not here to sell anything, not here to gain anything, it is of no consequence to me whether or not somebody from another space and time does not resonate with who I am or what I say
However I do appreciate kind people, people who take the time to show genuine interest, so I am happy to respond to those in my own way and over time it will be seen whether or not the adventure I have in the land of steem lasts as long as the adventure I still enjoy in my second life, although ten years it's a pretty tough precedent to match I feel
the birds always sing in my second life and it's beautiful
I create gardens in every life, I consider it one of my goals in life to fill every world with beauty
I send out immense frequencies of harmony and peace into all of existence
