I believe that places like Fayetteville could be fixed as far as crime is concerned but it would require a complete overhaul and a very strong monitoring situation that would be labeled as racist by certain communities and political pundits. I think that treating the warzones as warzones would be the only way forward. They won't do that though because of the PC society that we live in today. In the meantime the economy there just crumbles and everyone who can leave does.
