Having a garage sale at your home can be daunting at times, as the common fears are do I really want people we don't know coming over, will people turn up, well these two fears can be squezzed quite quickly with the only Garage/Market that I have found so far in Auckland apart from markets, car-boot sales that don't mind if you sell second hand goods or new (your not really restricted like a lot of other market and fairs,) and you don't have to line up over night just to get a stall (at time of writing you didn't.)
The Blockhouse Bay Garage Sale/Market which takes the ease out of doing one at home, as you don't need to advertise, that is done by the Market Runner, tables and chairs are provided and under cover, you set up your goods and wait for the customers to come by.
For buyers instead of running from one garage sale to another, you have quite a few different stalls to pick over from Tools, Books, Cards, Toys, Plants, Cakes, Furniture, Indoor - Outdoor, Shoes, Clothing, Jewelry, Collectable china, Hardware, Crown Lynn Swans, and Vases.
