This last Saturday, I had a list of things to get done around the house. One of those was to clean the gutters, which I noticed had been sagging after the storm. I let them dry out, and noticed that they were half full with dirt. So the wife and I got out the shot vac, and started breaking up the dirt clumps so they could be sucked up. 
It took us about 40 minutes, and then I had to re-secure them, and get the slope right for them to drain. But the thing that shocked me was the amount of dirt in them, I weighed the first bucket, and it was 45 pounds, there were 2 more after that one. I could not believe that we had over 100 pounds of dirt in the gutters. Looks like I will need to clean them more often.
