This is the story of why I stopped gambling. I started all the bets and gambling stuff when I was 15. It all started with sports bettings. I really enjoyed it because when I won it was the best feeling ever and driven me to gamble even more on sports games. But the problem was that eventually, I started losing...
One day I made a 400$ bet on a single game. I was so sure I was going to win that I didn't even think about that the other day. On the next day, I was told that I lost. I didn't know what to do but I kept gambling and kept losing. I kept gamble for another year until I was able to recover all my losses.
But the point of the story isn't only the money.
I loved sports ever since I can remember myself (mostly basketball, soccer and tennis). But ever since I started gambling for and against teams not only that it made me angry unjustly on teams, but it also took out my joy of watching games. When I realized the latter consequence, I decided to stop sports gambling forever, which leads me to another story.
Ever since I started traveling abroad I always went to the local casinos to play the machines and mostly the roulette. One day when I was on a trip to Berlin with my friends we went to the casino and each one of us earned some money that day, except for me. I lost 100 euros that day which took out the joy of the trip (the same with the sports gambles). The next day I went to try my luck at the same casino again. Luckily, I was able to recover 80 euros, but that day I swore to never gamble again.
