This jdrama was produced in 2001.
Ryunoske(Youtaka Takenouchi) goes to the beach to meet his old friend Aki.
Aki comes with her younger sister, Chiyo(Ryoko Hirosue) who is just 20 years old, so
Aki introduces each other.
Ryunoske and Chiyo has met before, but Ryunoske didn't recognize her, but he thinks she is pretty.
At night, they have a chance to spend time together in a good mood and have a good time.
Ryunoske's job is a director of commercial.
When he has a free time, he seems very frivolous, but when he is at work,
he becomes very earnest and smart with proud of his job
even though he produce a commercial of very small scale.
Also, his goal is a director of not just commercial but also documentary which is a major and upper field.
For the goal, he is not interested in getting marriage.
Chiyo is just 20 years old.
She just starts a part time job, and live with her old sister, Aki.
After they come back from the beach,
Aki worries about pregnancy even though she has a lover who has been dating for a long time.
Aki likes her lover, but she doesn't like his light-hearted attitude.
Aki buys a pregnancy tester, and she gets negative result.
However, Chiyo is positive.
Ryunoske and Chiyo has no contact after the beach vacation,
so Aki makes a chance to meet them and let Chiyo tells him about the pregnancy.
Ryunoske never expects the pregnancy, and
he has never been thinking about the marriage,
so at the moment, his reaction is hurting Chiyo.
After Ryunoske knows about the pregnancy,
he keeps thinking about the situation in earnest,
and makes his mind.
He visits Aki and Chiyo's house and
Aki says Chiyo goes to hospital.
He is freaked and runs to the hospital
and keep murmuring to himself, 'Chiyo, Don't make a stupid decision!!'
Finally, the story begins.
This drama is very interesting even though it was made 17years ago.
Also, I think we can sympathize the story line even now.
The point of the drama story is
how Ryunoske, who has no interest in marriage and is eager to get succeed in his work, and
Chiyo, who is just 20 years old, have changed because of the pregnancy and marriage.
The first time I watch this drama, I was 20 years old, and at that time,
I just liked to see Ryoko Hitosue.
The second time I watch is, I was 30 years old, and
I finally understand Ryunoske's situation and feeling.
Now, the actors and actress in the drama are very famous, and
some of them are representatives of Japan drama or movie.
