Prayer is solemn request to the Creator God for assistance either for a specific reason or for general wellbeing.
The importance of prayer can never be underestimated as our journey on this earth is against forces beyond the physical realm as stated in the following verse :
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Whatever we ask for God will answer as long as it in line with His will.You might not get exactly what you asked for but definitely God has your best interest at heart. All you have to do is to believe you will receive what you asked for and this is evident in the following verse;
Matthew 21:22:And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Life is full of obstacles and for us to overcome these obstacles we need to pray without ceasing.
