Steemians! It's been a while!
So sorry for that! I wasn't able to post anything due to my thesis and work. Since I had a great weekend, I want to share some pictures on Steemit. This is the fifth #howwasyourweekend post and I'm planning to continue with updating you about my weekends!
Last Saturday, I went to the Efteling with my friends. The Efteling is a fairytale amusement park in Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands. When I was a baby, I went there for the first time with my parents. I've already been there for three times this year, but you can never get enough from all the fun in the Efteling! Every time you go there, you make new memories with friends and family. So, it never gets bored. This is also because Efteling has build new attractions/rollercoasters in the last few years and it organizes more activities than before, such as music bands for kids and elder people and a lot of entertainment. The variety of activities and entertainment depend on which season it is.Each attraction has its own story. They are all based on fairytales. Also, Efteling has its own characters that is shown everywhere in the park.
Anyway, it was the birthday of my friend who is standing 2nd from the left on the 1st picture below. (I'm standing on the right ;)) We had a great time together and it was the first time ever that I went to the Efteling with them. Today (Sunday) my body is hurting from all the walking and screaming, but it was all worth it!
This is a new attraction called 'Symbolica', which opened this year. It was my first time seeing this one, but we weren't able to get inside because the waiting time was more than one hour! So, the next time I hope I can visit Symbolica ;).
I had to show you guys this picture. We didn't get on it, because this attraction can really make you sick. The name says it all "Monsieur Cannibale".
We went to a small store called 'De Bazaar' where we could buy accessories and Arabic things. My friends (the birthday girl) really wanted to have a mood ring the last time she was there. Back then, she changed her mind and didn't bought it. But this time she did. So, the four of us bought the mood ring. The ring can change its color, depending on your mood. I don't know if I believe in it, but it looks pretty awesome :P.
This doll thing is a story teller and he walks through the park to tell fairytale stories. Luckily, we were able to take a picture. We were actually the only one who could, because it had to walk further. Yasss.. I was very happy :P

Okay. This is a picture of a picture that was made when we were in the roller coaster 'Joris en de Draak'. Pfff, this roller coaster went very fast. A friend (the first on the left of the first picture) had to cry and she screamed so loud that everyone was looking at her like 'wtf' XD.

This roller coaster is called 'De Baron'. We didn't want to go in this roller coaster by day light, because the waiting time was too long. However, in the evening it was so dark and we only had to wait for like 30 minutes before the ride. Trust me, it was worth it but it was scary as hell!
