It's Friday! Yay!
So, let's flashback.
What were your favourite animes/cartoons?
- I loved Tom and Jerry (is there any child that doesn't?), so much I'd wake up early to watch before I got dressed for school.
- Of course, there was Pinky and Brain and their constant experiments.
- Then Wind in the willows where I learnt some of the different species of mice/rats.
- Pocahontas and her prince charming. You must know that she was a real person and she died in 1617, read more about her here
- We all loved Scooby Doo and his owner and their wild adventures.
- Can we forget The Simpsons, The Powderpuff girls, Hey Arnold, Dexter's laboratory, Adventures of Tin tin, Little Mermaid, The Lion King?
- Let me end my list with Sponge Bob Square pants this cartoon is 22 years old.

- I'm sure you are surprised there's no Batman/Superman animated, bla bla, I saw them but I didn't like them as much as those I listed.
What were your favourite movies?
- Top on the list is..... Maltida! I totally loved this movie (many thanks to our broadcasting service back then too, it was shown almost every Saturday).
- Next on my list is Sound of Music, the wildness of Maria that eventually lead her to the Von Trapp family and the role she played in saving them. Based on the memoirs of Maria Von Trapp, this movie is an evergreen for me!
The hills are alive with the sound of music
With songs they have sung for a thousand years
The hills fill my heart with the sound of music
My heart wants to sing every song it hears....
Julie Andrews
The opening song of the movie;
- The Home alone series don't we all love Kelvin?
- I'll end this list with Baby day out series.
Those were good old days.
