Sometimes I wonder why our society still justify a good wife qualities by the amount of suffering she passes through?
Ideally, with the level of civilization the world is experiencing, someone in Africa is thinking a woman is a better wife material because she can put keg of water on her head. Is suffering synonymous to being a wife? The answer to that is a NO!
The attributes of a good wife goes beyond patience.
Let me highlight some healthy attributes of a wife material.
·Noble character ( A confident woman is irresistible, a woman who builds with mouth is amazing etc)
·Ability to submit to her spouse
·Prudent in action.
·Gives peace to her man
With the above mentioned, I do not see a column for poverty.
Yes, we know our mothers suffered, used grinding stones, went to the river, pounded yam and all. That is in the past , it will be wrong to continue in such circle of ignorance
So for the guys, A potential wife goes beyond her capacity to endure hardship.
Like I will always say ' True love makes you better not bitter'. You want an Angel create an heaven for her.
