In covid times , carrying a baby and sharing is so much different i experience now with my sister in law and brother who will be parents in October this year and for the first time.
We have know for a while that we are going to be aunt and uncle and that in covid times is a different kind of joy and experiencing their pregnancy. I have already blogged about this before, the blog I put at the end of this blog. In the picture you see us in the meet screen online in different places in Holland watching the color come up. Very different and new to our lives, yes covid rules are everywhere. But the excitement is just as big as if we were there watching live.
We had the gender reveal with a online meet because of the covid rules and the riks my sister in law can face when we are all at the house watching the gender reveal of the new baby in the family. Of course a bummer cause she was planning this for weeks now. But we don’t want to take any risk with the new addition.
We were all online and in suspense of the reveal. We had a game about guessing weather it was a boy or a girl. It was more boy than girl, but grandpa wanted a girl and was sure it would be a little princess. We bought presents and offered them via the screen.
The firecracker would be pink or blue, and when it was lit, the blue was there immediately.
SO I AM GONNA BE A AUNT TO A BABY BOY !
