Going to have surgery tomorrow to remove my lump. I noticed it back in December and gave myself quite the scare. I had to first have it biopsied to see if it was cancerous, the results came back negative but I did have a few weeks where I was going a bit crazy about it. Turns out it is something called nodular fascitis, which apparently looks just like cancer during initial testing.
I'm very happy to be having this surgery finally. I didn't heal very well from the biopsy and ended up with a little bit of infection where they cut me open. I'll have to spend a little extra time tomorrow getting operated on but the doctor said they should be able to clean everything up and remove the lump without much issue.
The lump is right at the top of my inner thigh so healing isn't going to be ideal and I'll probably have to hobble around a little bit until I'm healed up. That kind of sucks since I'm supposed to be helping calve my brothers cow herd starting next week. I don't think I'm going to be much help but I'll do my best.
I will probably be quite out of it tomorrow night so don't get too worried if you don't hear from me!
